After getting home that night, they both rolled worgen hunters on the same server. They set a goal: Level 20 and Running Wild before the end of the night.

With 40 hour weeks and family obligations to face, they knew such leveling stints just wouldn’t be a possibility. So to keep the bet fair, they revised the terms. Same race, same class, same server, same timeframe: 15 hours a week.

Even at level 60 he trudged on. Through Outlands and Northrend, up to the brand new 80-85 zones where he leveled with far more enjoyment, planning ahead as he started gearing his hunter for dungeons.

By the time he hit 85, he’d already paid for a week’s worth of lunches with another week to spare.
